The "BML WeRUN - Corporates", a special corporate event organized by WeRunMaldives to promote healthy lifestyles and team spirit among businesses and institutions, was successfully held yesterday at Crossroads Maldives.

The relay race featured 11 men's teams and 7 women's teams, with each team consisting of five runners. Each participant ran one kilometer, totaling a five-kilometer distance per team.

In the men's category, the Track and Field Association claimed the championship title, completing the relay in 19 minutes and 54 seconds.

RunningMode Athletics secured the first runner-up position with a time of 21 minutes and 53 seconds, while Bank of Maldives took the second runner-up spot, finishing the race in 22 minutes and 50 seconds.

RunningMode Athletics also emerged as the champions in the women's category, finishing the race in 28 minutes and 44 seconds. The first runner-up position went to Crossroads Island Sprinters, who clocked in at 43 minutes and 41 seconds, followed by ADK Synergy as the second runner-up with a time of 44 minutes and 29 seconds.

Cash prizes were awarded to the top performers, with MVR 20,000 for the winning teams, MVR 15,000 for the runners-up, and MVR 10,000 for the third-place finishers. All participants who completed the race were presented with finisher medals.

Exclusively for full-time employees of Maldivian companies and institutions, the event was held under a two-year partnership agreement between WeRun Maldives and the Bank of Maldives (BML).
