PCB has removed Ahmed Niyaz as managing director and board director of Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC).
Niyaz was appointed to the job on 30 November 2023. PCB has given no reason for the dismissal.
He had worked at MTDC since November 2007. He holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a diploma in directorship from the Singapore Management University Institute of Directorship.
Before moving into the corporate sector, he spent more than a decade in education, working as headmaster at several outer-atoll schools.
