Villa College has announced that its annual Open Day will take place this Friday under a unique theme: "Villa College Campus Quest: Comic Edition 2026."

Designed to strengthen the connection between the youth and the institution, the event is scheduled for Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16. It will be held at the Villa College QI Campus from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm on both days.

According to Villa College, the event is a festival-style Open Day that combines the introduction of educational opportunities with pop culture, gaming, cosplay, and various academic activities.

To participate in the "Campus Quest," visitors can register via a web application to receive a "Digital Hero Passport." A key highlight of the festival is the transformation of Villa College’s faculties and departments into themed zones inspired by various pop culture elements.

Each zone will feature engaging challenges and activities related to its specific theme. Upon completing a challenge, participants can scan a QR code to earn a digital stamp. Those who collect stamps from all zones will be eligible to enter a Grand Prize draw.

The event will also feature a "Cosplay Ramp Walk Competition," where participants can showcase costumes of various pop culture characters. The top three performers, judged on their presentation and craftsmanship, will receive valuable prizes sponsored by Ell Mobile.

Furthermore, the main stage will host live music, student talent shows, and a variety of other performances throughout the event.

For the gaming community, a dedicated "Gaming and E-Sports Zone" has been established in collaboration with the Dhiraagu Gamers Guild. Visitors to this zone can enjoy PS5 stations, casual gaming setups, racing simulations, and virtual reality (VR) experiences.

To cater to attendees over the two-day event, a "Food Stall Zone" will offer a variety of refreshments, including assorted desserts, Asian cuisine, specialty coffee, Japanese street food, and various snacks.

Students wishing to apply for courses at Villa College will receive full assistance during the event. The college has arranged for applicants to receive instant offer letters and complete their registration on the spot.

Additionally, Villa College confirmed that career screening and guidance services will be available to help students navigate their future academic and professional paths.
