The Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) Guesthouse Symposium has kicked off at the Crossroads Maldives this morning.
The symposium, which was launched last year in collaboration with the Guesthouse Association, will feature keynote speeches by experts.
There will be four panel discussion this year, focusing on sector security, destination branding, finance and short-term challenges.
The symposium brings together guesthouses and related businesses to provide information that will facilitate business expansion and more profitable operations.
Last year's edition of the symposium was a huge success, with guesthouses from across the country joining to discuss the growth of the sector.
