The President's Office has been unable to recover its YouTube channel which was hacked and removed two days ago.

The channel was hacked before it was removed from the platform for violating rules. Videos related to cryptocurrency and trading were posted after it was hacked.

The official channel, which contained videos of presidents' speeches for many years, is no longer available on the platform.

A banner on top said the channel was removed for violating YouTube's community guidelines. But now the link shows that the channel does not exist.

President's Office Communications Minister Ibrahim Khaleel and Spokesperson Heena Waleed did not respond to requests for comment.

Earlier, Khaleel told Adhadhu that cyber security officials were investigating the matter.
