The President's Office's YouTube channel was hacked before it was removed from the platform for violating rules.
Adhadhu understands that videos related to cryptocurrency and trading were posted on the channel after it was hacked.
The official channel, which contained videos of presidents' speeches for many years, is no longer available on the platform.
A banner on top said the channel was removed for violating YouTube's community guidelines. But now the link shows that the channel does not exist.
President's Office Communications Minister Ibrahim Khaleel said cyber security officials were investigating the matter.
