The Philippines Airworks Aviation Academy has arranged medical care for a Maldivian student who was injured last week.
In a press release, the academy said it was providing all necessary assistance to Abdul Maniu for his medical treatment and rehabilitation.
"We are providing the injured student with the necessary medical assistance. Most importantly, we are with him and his family until he recovers completely. We will provide all the necessary assistance until he recovers completely," it stated.
The pilot training academy said it gives priority to the safety of students and instructors and expressed concern about the incident.
It added that details cannot be disclosed because the investigation was ongoing and expressed a commitment to ensure such an incident does not repeat.
Another student in the Philippines told Adhadhu that the incident occurred when Maniu got off a Cessna-125 without turning off the plane.
Maniu sustained the biggest injury to his face, but is able to speak.
Airworks Aviation Academy suspended operations for three days after the incident to help the investigation proceed fairly.
During that time, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police inspected the entire property.
