Bank of Maldives (BML) has expanded its ATM services in Kulhudhuffushi with the installation of the city's first dollar ATM at its branch premises.
The ATM was officially inaugurated by Tourism and Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim and BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef.
BML said the new addition adds to the existing network of four Maldivian Rufiyaa ATMs currently serving the community through two locations.
The USD ATM provides 24-hour access to foreign currency transactions, enabling both residents and businesses to make USD deposits and withdrawals, along with other self-service banking functions outside regular banking hours.
"BML is the bank for all Maldivians. We are a partner in your progress. Every service we introduce and every change we make is for one purpose - to serve you better," Shareef said at the ceremony.
The national bank is strengthening its network of USD ATM services, which serves customers in Kulhudhuffushi, Addu, Male’, Hulhumale’, Velana International Airport (VIA) and Maafushi.
BML said this expansion reinforces the bank's position as the Maldives' leading financial institution, with an extensive network comprising 39 branches across all 20 atolls, 100 Self Service Banking Centres, 158 ATMs, comprehensive Agent Banking Services, and advanced Digital Banking solutions.
