Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) hosted a Maahefun (traditional pre-Ramadan feast) for its Bingaa Kids Account customers on Saturday.
During the event, Dr. Ibrahim Zakariyya Moosa conducted a special program titled "Ask Dr. Zak" to provide useful information to children.
Various sports and fun activities were also conducted.
MIB's Bingaa Kids Account is designed to introduce children to the world of finance and empower them with essential money management skills.
The Bingaa package includes three accounts: Bingaa TRX, Bingaa Save and Bingaa Investment.

The Bingaa TRX account allows young users to access internet banking, teaching them how to navigate their finances in a digital age.
Starting at age 7, children can also obtain a cash card, providing them with practical experience in managing their spending.
The Bingaa savings account is a great way for children to develop the habit of saving money. This account is for short-term savings.
The Bingaa Investment account is for long-term savings. When the child turns 18, the account can be used to save money for further education or the down payment on an apartment.
MIB said their goal with the Bingaa accounts is to increase financial literacy among children by instilling lifelong financial habits.
