The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has refused to comment on whether it was investigating the case of any judges.
Adhadhu questioned the JSC Secretary General Aminath Nadha whether an investigation was ongoing.
She said that the commission had changed its policy to not disclose any information if a complaint is submitted.
Nadha said the details of cases against judges will only be disclosed if the complaint is proved.
"As per the commission's policy, when a judge's case is filed, it will not be disclosed now. Information will be disclosed only when a judge is proven to have wronged," she said.
Under the previous policy, the JSC informs the media if a complaint is submitted and also provides updates after concluding the investigation.
The opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) yesterday accused the government of influencing the constitutional case submitted by Kendhoo MP Ali Hussain to quash the amendment that would disqualify MPs for switching parties.
MDP said the government plans to remove three Supreme Court justices and appoint Prosecutor General (PG) Abbas Shareef and two other political appointees to fill vacancies.
The government, the top court and the JSC have not yet commented.
