Tree Top Hospital has held this year's first health camp in Thaa Veymandoo island as part of the hospital's campaign to provide medical treatment to people across the country.
The health camp in collaboration with the atoll council and Thaa Atoll Hospital was held on Friday and Saturday.
Consultations with doctors, health screening and awareness sessions were conducted during the two-day health camp.
“This is an important initiative to promote health awareness and healthy living in the community,” the hospital stated.
Seven doctors who participated in the health camp:

- Specialist in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery Dr. Mohamed Habeeb
- Pulmonologist Dr Tehzeeb Faruqui
- Specialist in Dermatology Dr. Anu Agrawal
- Specialist in ENT Dr. Rajesh A. Valand
- Urologist Dr. Mehmet Oder
- Rheumatologist Dr. Jiwan Poudel

Last year, Tree Top Hospital conducted health camps in Gaaf Alif Villingili, Gaaf Dhaal Thinadhoo and Laamu Gan. More than 1000 patients consulted doctors during these camps.
The hospital strives to provide quality health consultations and treatment to those who face difficulties in accessing services.
The hospital also considers it a key responsibility to educate the youth about healthy lifestyles, preventive measures and early detection of diseases.
