Adam elected for his second term as President of MBA

Malé, Maldives: Ahmed Adam has been re-elected as the President of the Maldives Basketball Association (MBA) for a second term.

Adam, who first took office in 2019, was the sole candidate for the position during the MBA elections held last night.

The MBA had announced the election process on November 26, with a submission deadline for candidacies on December 3 at 13:30.

Due to only one nomination being submitted for each position, the election was effectively a referendum.

Out of the 20 eligible members, 12 submitted their documents to participate in the election. The clubs present at the electoral congress voted to elect candidates for each position.
