Ten new members elected to Maldives Media Council

Members have been elected to the 10 vacant seats of the Maldives Media Council (MMC).

Seven members from the media and three independent members were elected during a vote taken at the Social Centre.

Members elected from the media;

Hussain Hassan - Hathaavees
Fathimath Shana Mohamed - Mihaaru
Fathimath Nahudha Faiz - Dhiyares
Hafsee Abdulla - Hafsee

The term for the 15 members of MMC is two years. Members cannot serve for more than two consecutive terms.
