Water service has been disrupted in Gaaf Dhaal Thinadhoo city due to a technical problem at the water supply plant.
Adhadhu understands that the service provided by Fenaka has faced disruptions over the past four days. Fenaka is currently working to resolve the problem.
Water service interruption hours:
- 8:00 am to 11:30 am
- 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm
- 1:00 am to 4:00 am
A 300-ton plant was delivered to Thinadhoo city on September 14 but the new plant has yet to be installed.
A person who spoke to Adhadhu from Thinadhoo said that water service is often unavailable even during the hours when it is supposed to be available.
"There are more times when water is not available than when it is available. Water is often not available even during the hours when it is supposed to be available. People are facing serious problems," he said.
Fenaka was unavailable for comment. However, the company has apologized for the inconvenience caused to the people in Thinadhoo.
