Homeland Security and Technology Minister Ali Ihusan is visiting China on an official visit.
Ihusan told Adhadhu today that he was in China at the invitation of the country's Public Security Minister for a meeting with him and to participate in the Global Security Cooperation forum.
He left for China on Friday and is scheduled to return tomorrow.
Ihusan said he met with Chinese Public Security Minister Wang Xiaohong and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and build police capacity.
They also discussed further cooperation, especially the implementation of China's Global Security Initiative, he added.
The third forum of the Global Security Initiative is being held from Sunday to today. More than 2,100 officials from various security agencies and ministries from 122 countries are participating in the forum.
The details of Ihusan's visit to China have not been posted on his social media accounts or the official social media platforms of the Home Ministry.
