The 10th blood donation camp organized by Alia Investment was held yesterday.
The camp, conducted in collaboration with the Maldives Blood Services, was held on the second floor of the Maagiri Hotel until 6:00 pm.
The camp was open to the public and aimed to provide blood to people undergoing treatment for thalassemia and other diseases and those in need of blood for surgery.
The process of donating blood allowed new blood donors to do so in a comfortable environment and ensured safety until the end of the donation process.

Speaking to Adhadhu about the camp, Dr. Ahmed Umar said many new donors join the camp every year. He added that some people are regular blood donors.
Ahmed Saeed, who was at the camp, said this was the 15th time he had donated blood and that it is important to understand the feelings of those who need blood.
Through this camp every year, Alia works to increase the number of new blood donors in the country.
