Registration opens for Ooredoo Fun Run Laamu edition

Ooredoo Maldives has announced that the annual Fun Run will be held in Laamu Gan this year and opened registration for interested participants.

Ooredoo said an online form can be filled to participate in the Fun Run Laamu edition scheduled for July 5 and registration will be open till June 10.

The five-kilometre race is open to everyone over the age of six and is open to both beginners and regular runners.

Ooredoo said that after each kilometer of the race, there will be water and fun activities at the stations. The race can be completed by walking, jogging, running or dancing.

Ooredoo MD and CEO Khalid Al Hamadi said one of the main objectives of bringing the Fun Run to Laamu Atoll is to hold a fun and interactive event for people of all ages.

"This is not just an initiative for a healthy lifestyle. Ooredoo has always strived to hold events for people in different parts of Maldives. We hope that many people will participate in this joyful event," Khalid Al Hamadi said.

Ooredoo Fun Run Laamu kits are available in two categories: Standard Kits and Fun Kits. The standard kit includes a fun run t-shirt and wristband and is priced at MVR 100. The fun kit worth MVR 200 includes a fun run r-shirt, a wristband, a cloth bag, glasses and a bandana.

The Fun Run is one of the most popular events organized by Ooredoo every year. Last year, more than 5,000 participants took part in the event.
