A threat has been made against a Raajje TV journalist on social media to set fire to the station.
The threat was sent to journalist Laisha Ahmed through Instagram. The message also threatened violence against Laisha.
"This is our government," the threatening message from the anonymous ID stated.

When Adhadhu called police for a comment, the media official said "such a case has not been submitted yet."
Raajje TV's studio was previously torched and destroyed during the final days of former President Dr. Mohamed Waheed's administration.
Ten years ago in October 2013, Raajje TV temporarily stopped broadcasting after the arson attack damaged the station's equipment and the BKT building where the studio was formerly located.
The arson attack came after multiple threats, Raajje TV staff said at the time.
Mohamed Meead, a suspect charged over the Raajje TV arson, was found guilty and sentenced to two years in prison on December 16, 2021.
