Public Service Media (PSM) has announced that the content of "Ihusaas" show will be reviewed before broadcasting on the TVM Channel.
PSM Managing Director Zeena Zahir told Adhadhu that discussions were held on Thursday to improve the show after its first episode aired on Wednesday night.
But following public criticism on social media on Friday, PSM has now decided that the content committee must review sensitive programs before airing.
"Since this is the fourth season of Ihusaas program, the content was being reviewed by the producer. The content committee does not review each and every program. But all new programs are reviewed by the committee before airing," Zeena said.
Social media users criticized the show over questions posed by presenter Aminath Namza with regard to a disabled child.
