President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu is scheduled to leave for the UAE tomorrow.
An official from the President's Office told Adhadhu that Muizzu will be attending the World Government Summit in UAE from February 12 to 14.
A delegation from the Maldives government will accompany the President during the visit. The President will return to Maldives on February 15.
The President earlier visited UAE for the COP28 Summit. His first trip abroad since being elected was also made to UAE. The expenses for the unofficial visit to Abu Dhabi were covered by the UAE.
Earlier this month, he made a state visit to China. However, the President has yet to visit any neighboring South Asian countries.
