One in serious condition after motorcycle accident

Hulhumale' Hospital has revealed that one of the four people injured in an accident on Saturday evening is in critical condition.

A media official for the hospital told Adhadhu that one person has been released after treatment and two people are still being treated in Hulhumale' hospital. The fourth person was transferred to ADK hospital in Male'.

"There are many fractures and serious injuries. One person has been sent to ADK for further treatment," the media official said.

The hospital did not disclose details of their injuries.

The accident involving two motorcycles was reported to police at 04:28 pm on Saturday. The accident happened on Hulhumale' Fithuroanu Magu.

A video of the accident circulating on social media shows four injured people laying on the road.
