A total of 84 homes on four islands were damaged after heavy rainfall this month.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said in a tweet today that four islands have reported damages so far this month.
These included 66 homes from Lhaviyani Kurendhoo, 15 homes from Alif Alif Ukulhas, two homes from Seenu Feydhoo and one home from Alif Alif Feridhoo.
The agency has been providing assistance after assessing damages, the NDMA said.
Floodwaters seeped into 75 percent of homes in Kurendhoo and caused varying levels of damages after a torrential downpour on September 19, according to the island council.
