Daniel Bosley, former editor of the Minivan News has written a book about his experiences as a journalist in the Maldives.
The book, titled 'Decent into Paradise: A Journalist's Memoir of the Untold Maldives', will be published in September by the Indian edition of Macmillan Publishers.
The book, which is now open for pre-order, will tell the hidden truths of Maldives, which is known as the paradise on earth.
Bosley who interned at the Maldives High Commission in London in 2011 later worked as a journalist in the Maldives for more than seven years.
He worked as the editor of the Minivan News and reported from the Maldives for the Economist and Reuters.
He covered the major political events of the time, as well as social issues and the violence of gangs in Male'.
Bosley, who is married to Maldives photographer Aishath Naj, and with whom he started a website on the history and culture of Maldives, "Two Thousand Isles", said Maldives is a unique and interesting country besides the natural beauty.
The book will contain the amazing and incredible things he saw during his time as a journalist in Maldives, he said.
