The foundation stone has been laid to mark the launch of work to build a 30-bed hospital on Noonu Kendhikulhudhoo island.

The government awarded the Kendhikulhudhoo Hospital project earlier this year to SAS-E Construction Pvt Ltd.
Solih expressed confidence that the project will be completed without any delays. The Kendhikulhudhoo Hospital is a government pledge.
The project, which is financed by a Bank of Maldives (BML) loan, will cost MVR 193,895,234 and will include a 30-bed hospital and an accommodation block.
