MWSC launches program to waive water bill fines

The Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has launched a program to waive water bill fines.

The program is due to take place until December 31.

The fine will be waived when a customer submits a request in writing or through email after settling the outstanding amount owed to one or more water bills.

MWSC urged customers to make use of the opportunity and clear unpaid bills. The company appealed for customers to make regular monthly payments in order to provide services sustainably.
