The government has opened up for complaints and inquiries following the publication of the preliminary list of land plot recipients for the 'Binveriyaa' housing scheme.
The list of 5,000 recipients was published in the government gazette on Monday evening.
The public can raise complaints or inquiries about the list until July 15 through the 'Gedhoruverin Portal.'
Applications were opened on June 26, 2022 to give 1000 land plots in Hulhumale', 2000 land plots in Gulhi Falhu and 2000 land plots in Giraavaru Falhu.
The government announced that 3000 plots out of the total 5000 would be allocated during the first round of the scheme.
The provisional list was published in the gazette after a press conference held by the planning ministry at the President's Office.
The website went down as a large number of people tried to access the gazette.
Of the 19,858 applications received under the scheme, 12,794 were eligible. The list includes 10,314 recipients.
Housing and Planning Minister Mohamed Aslam announced on Monday that all eligible applicants will be awarded land plots.
