SPEEDBOAT CAPTAIN

• Diploma / Basic level to associate with operation of vessels. Must possess Maldivian Maritime Training Certificate • 3-5 years’ experience as Speedboat / Port Captain • Should have speed boat driving license • Strongly committed to teamwork & flexible to work in Resort Boats • Good communication skills

• Responsible to follow the maritime law, rules and regulations as set forth by the Ministry of Transport & Communication of the Republic of Maldives • Ensure for the safe operation of their vessel and must ensure that it is operated and crewed according to both company and legal guidelines • Monitor daily progress of the vessel, observing speed, engine pressure and water depths, and signaling any passing ships • To navigate vessels using maps, radars and lights by the use of electronic devices and the following of contour lines. • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot with high level of expertise
