Shamoon Hameed and Samau nominated to HRCM
President Muizzu has nominated Shamoon Hameed and incumbent member Samaau Ahmed Najeeb for appointment to the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives. Shamoon, a former HRCM Secretary General, was recommended to Parliament alongside Samaau to fill upcoming vacancies. The nominations follow a public call for applications to the commission.
