Sacked SOE staff reinstated after joining PNC
Sacked employees from Maldivian State-Owned Enterprises are reportedly being reinstated after joining the ruling People’s National Congress. Despite a government "rightsizing" initiative to cut 6,000 jobs, many dismissed workers, primarily from the opposition, are regaining positions through political affiliation.
