Journalists request stay order on execution of jail terms
Journalists Leevan Ali Naseer and Mohamed Shahzan have petitioned the High Court to stay jail sentences and fines for alleged contempt of court. They argue the Criminal Court’s ruling was procedurally flawed and violated their constitutional rights. The pair is also seeking bail while appealing the decision.
