Villingili airport project to begin in November
Physical work on the $750 million Villingili international airport and tourism project is set to begin by November. Although originally signed with a Belgian firm, the government has awarded the contract to a new, undisclosed developer. The project aims to integrate an airport with a tourism zone in the Gaaf Alif Atoll.
