Marvin gets 25 years, Lamha gets 15 years over Mary's murder
Marvin Vargas was sentenced to 25 years for the murder of his wife, Mary Grace, while his accomplice and lover, Haleemath Lamha, received a 15-year sentence. The court rejected leniency, citing the couple's attempt to stage the 2021 killing as a suicide. Both defendants will receive credit for time already served in custody.
