AG announces new laws will be drafted to facilitate Rasmale' deal
Attorney General Ahmed Usham announced that new legislation, including a Real Estate Act, must be passed to facilitate the Rasmalé project. Current laws do not support the proposed 99-year lease terms for foreign buyers. Definitive agreements will be signed only after Parliament establishes the necessary legal framework.
