NewsPSM ready for court after using artwork without permission
Maldivian artist Hussain Niyaz is accusing state broadcaster PSM of using his 3D whale shark illustration without permission for its Eid-al-Adha branding. While Niyaz is seeking payment for the unauthorized use of his work, PSM has denied the claims and stated it is prepared to defend its actions in court.

According to the bill, intellectual property includes trademarks, patents, copyrights, industrial designs and geographical indications.
