FDC mandates strict internet agreements and heavy fines
The FDC is mandating flat owners to sign a strict internet agreement to access essential portal services, even if they do not use the internet. The contract imposes heavy fines of up to MVR 5,000 for early termination or using unauthorized providers. These rules apply to 4,000 new housing units currently being connected to fiber optics.
