World's largest dredger departs Maldives
The Cristóbal Colón, one of the world’s largest dredgers, has left the Maldives with the Rasmale' reclamation project unfinished. Despite being chartered at a high cost by MACL, the vessel departed after completing only one of three assigned sites. Work at the site has reportedly been stalled for two weeks with no official explanation.
