Alert as MFDA discovers fake cancer drug in market
The Maldives Food and Drug Authority has banned a counterfeit batch of the cancer drug Opdivo (Nivolumab) found in the local market. Officials warned that the fake medication was being sold illegally through unauthorized channels and online platforms. The MFDA reminded the public that only registered entities may import and sell medicines.
