Bank of Maldives' monthly limit for MVR cards averages less than $60 per customer due to a $16 million cap on foreign e-commerce transactions. While the official $500 allowance remains, the reduced dollar supply makes it nearly impossible for all 300,000 active users to reach that limit before daily sector caps are exhausted.
