Maldives government denies approaching Alabbar with Rasmale' deal
The Maldivian government has denied claims by Eagle Hills Chairman Mohamed Alabbar that it initiated the Rasmalé project proposal. Officials clarified the deal followed the Private Sector Initiated Proposal framework after Eagle Hills submitted terms. Discrepancies also remain regarding the total investment and lease duration.
