Maldives welcomes decision to remove Syria from terror list
The Maldives welcomed the U.S. decision to remove Syria from its State Sponsors of Terrorism list following the fall of the Assad regime. The Maldivian Foreign Ministry expressed hope that this move will support Syria's reconstruction and stabilization under the new government led by Ahmed al-Sharaa.
