A foreigner has been found dead in the swimming track area of Hithadhoo in Addu city.

Police told the media that the deceased was a man, but they have not yet been able to confirm his identity.

Further investigations are underway.

Meanwhile, a Maldivian national was found dead in a house in Maafannu in Male' on Friday (March 13).
