Construction Minister Abdulla Muththalib is to be summoned to parliament over stalled development projects in Addu city.
Addu Meedhoo MP Abdul Rahman wants to question whether the projects are stalled because of a lack of cooperation from the Addu city council and MPs from Addu.
He also wants to clarify what the council and MPs must do to ensure that the projects resume.
Abdul Rahman said these questions were put forward to him by members of the public during a meeting with constituents.
The Muizzu administration has made big promises to Addu. However, none of the promises have been fulfilled.
The government has given various dates to resolve the electricity problem. A water project was scheduled to be completed last year, but it has not yet started.
The biggest project announced by the government is the bridge connecting Hithadhoo and Hulhumeedhoo.
A contractor was appointed and an agreement was signed early in the administration. However, two years have passed with technical work still incomplete.
