President Mohamed Muizzu has nominated Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Nazim’s wife Dr. Dheeba Moosa to the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The term of three CSC members ends in September. Muizzu picked six nominees out of the applicants for CSC membership.

6. Aminath Ummu Kulsum

Dheeba was ranked third among Muizzu's nominees. She has a PhD in education and previously worked at Ghiyasuddin School and Villa College. She is currently the Academic Dean of the Islamic University.

The nominees will be reviewed by the parliament's committee on Independent Institutions. They will be interviewed and graded before taking a vote in the parliament floor.
