The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has raided the offices of the Agriculture Ministry and seized multiple boxes of documents.

The ACC has not given any information. Agriculture Minister Maryam Mariya told Adhadhu she did not know the details of the case.

But she said the ministry was fully cooperating with the ACC.

The anti-corruption watchdog has been probing corruption allegations against the former administration while stalling allegations against the current regime.

Some of the investigations are connected to state utility company Fenaka and Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

Meanwhile, the ACC helped paralyse the Supreme Court by allowing the suspension of three justices by fabricating a case against them.

One justice filed complaints against ACC President Adam Shamil with the ACC and police. But both agencies decided not to investigate the complaints.
