The national airline, Maldivian, has launched a Premium Economy experience for travellers on all domestic routes starting April 13.

Maldivian said the offer is designed to enhance convenience and comfort, providing passengers with an improved travel experience.

Seats in the Premium Economy class can be booked starting today with benefits including 25kgs of baggage allowance, one complimentary date change and priority check-in at the airport.

Maldivian said passengers will also have access to the lounges which provide comfortable seating, refreshments, and other amenities.

"Onboard, passengers can look forward to a complimentary snack and drink as well. In addition to these perks, Premium Economy travellers will enjoy fast track baggage handling, meaning their luggage will be among the first to be delivered upon arrival," Maldivian stated.

Travel on Premium Economy class can be booked conveniently through the airline’s website, mobile app, or via other booking channels.
