President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu departed on an official visit to Estonia on Sunday evening.

According to the President's Office, the visit comes at the invitation of Estonian President Dr. Alar Karis.

This marks the first official visit to Estonia by a Maldivian President.

During the visit, discussions will be held on identifying areas of collaboration including digital, cyber and e-governance, climate and environmental issues and science and education.

Muizzu is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusaan and a senior government delegation.
