A 53-year-old Maldivian man has been found dead in a house in Male'.

Police said Abdulla Hassan was found on the fourth floor of Mahchangolhi Hudhu Akiri house.

He reportedly suffers from mental illness. Police said there were no visible injuries on his body.

Police and medical officers were deployed in the area on Tuesday morning.
