Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has been named the best Islamic finance entity in South Asia at the 9th Islamic Finance Forum of South Asia Awards 2024.

MIB Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications Ahmed Neerain Jaleel accepted the award on behalf of the bank at the ceremony held in Sri Lanka.

Since the launch of Maldives' first and only Islamic bank, MIB has been contributing to promote Islamic finance in the country.

The bank has been providing information and awarding scholarships to students in the field while introducing many new services fit for Maldives within the Islamic financial system.

MIB is currently providing secure banking services in 18 islands in 12 atolls across the country and has become a trusted bank accepted by the people.
