Dhiraagu launched new "limitless" fibre broadband packages on Saturday night.

With these packages, customers can get internet speeds ranging from 20 Mbps to 1 Gbps without running out of data. These are the perfect packages for unlimited streaming, gaming and browsing that fit customers' digital lives.

Dhiraagu Chief Commercial Officer Ali Riyaz said the need for uninterrupted high speed internet has increased as the Maldives moves with the digital age.

He also said Dhiraagu attaches great importance to increasing connectivity in the Maldives and preparing customers for a digital future.

"Our customers are the top priority in everything we do. Dhiraagu is always striving to bring innovative, digital solutions to customers to enhance their lives," he said.

Dhiraagu recently launched the latest global super-highway SEA-ME-WE 6 (SMW6) submarine cable landing in the Maldives.

It will connect the country to the world’s main internet exchange points and data centres, further strengthening its international connectivity.

Dhiraagu fibre broadband network has the fastest speed and widest coverage network in the Maldives.

The company's internet service is now available to more than 95 percent of households in the country.
