Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer called on the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan yesterday.

The meeting was held in Abu Dhabi yesterday during his ongoing official visit to the UAE.

During the meeting, Zameer formally delivered a letter from President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu addressed to the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Foreign Ministry said both ministers discussed ways to deepen the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Zameer conveyed appreciation to the leadership and the government of the UAE for the generous support and close cooperation extended to the Maldives over the years.

The meeting concluded with the two ministers reaffirming the commitment to continue working closely together.
